Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. A-ΘE Owl standing facing on Amphora; to left, trophy; to right, two monograms; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 41-3. Somewhat corroded and with some horn silver, otherwise, very fine.
